Manassas Police post lookout bulletin for missing 14-year-old

Manassas City Police Department has posted a bulletin from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children with regard to a missing juvenile who may be in the Manassas area.

A police report identified the missing person as a Hispanic female, Mirsha Moreno Chavez, 14,  DOB Sept. 20, 2000, with brown hair and black eyes, five feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. Chavez is seen in an accompanying photo as wearing glasses.

She has been missing since July 29, 2015 from Montgomery Village, MD, according to the police notice.

Anyone with information about these events is encouraged to call the Manassas City Police Department Investigative Services Division at (703) 257-8092 or Crime Solvers.  The Manassas City Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward up to $1000 for information that leads to an arrest in these cases.  The confidential 24-hour tip line is (703) 330-0330.
