Burglary of Elementary School
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the burglary of Baldwin Elementary School at 9705 Main Street.  The burglary occurred at approximately 9:00PM Thursday, August 29, when two suspects forced entry through a window into a trailer classroom, behind the main school building.

A school employee, responding to the alarm activation, saw the suspects flee the trailer and run toward Main Street.

The witness described one of the suspects as being a black male in his early 20`s, 6`1” tall, about 200 pounds, with short, dark hair, and wearing a black shirt with red and white lettering and baggy blue jeans. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic or bi-racial female in her late teens or early 20`s, 5`5” tall, with a medium build, dark hair in a pony-tail, and wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts.

It appeared that the suspects had ransacked the trailer.  At this time, it is unknown whether anything was stolen.  Officers were able to collect physical evidence.  The investigation is ongoing.
