Manassas man charged with abduction and threats to bomb involving family member

Abduction | Domestic Related – On July 13 at 8:34AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8100 block of Hillcrest Dr. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 64-year-old woman, reported to police that she was struck by a family member, identified as the accused, during a verbal altercation. When the victim attempted to contact the police, the accused grabbed her phone and prevented her from leaving the room.

At some point, the victim was able to take her phone before fleeing into another room where she contacted police. While the victim was secured inside the second room, the accused threatened to burn down the home and shoot the victim.

When officers arrived at the location, the accused refused to exit the home. Eventually, the victim was assisted out of the home by police and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Later that afternoon, the accused,  identified as Eric Alan GESERICK, was taken into custody without further incident.
