Manassas man arrested and being held without bond on firearm charges

On February 9, 2024, at 7:50 p.m., Manassas City Police responded to the 8600 block of Bruton Parish Court for a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived on the scene where a group was located and immediately attempted to flee the area.

One subject threw a gun on the ground under a vehicle which was witnessed by the officers. The subject was immediately detained. He was identified as being a convicted felon and during the search incident to arrest was in possession of a suspected schedule I/II controlled substance.

The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Prince William County Adult Detention Center where he was held without bond.
