Manassas juveniles charged in “Molotov cocktail” incident in city limits
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, fire marshals and police officers from the City ofManassas arrested four juveniles and charged each juvenile with three felony counts: destruction of property, manufacture of a firebomb, and attempted burning of an occupied dwelling.
The arrests were the result of an investigation into an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 11, 2014 in the 9600 block of Shannon Lane.
The juveniles, ages 16 and 17, are being held at the Prince WilliamCounty Juvenile Detention Center until a court date is scheduled, according to Patty Prince, Public Affairs Specialist.
