Breaking & Entering
On Sept. 15, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9700 block of Aspen Pl for a report of a burglary. The reporting party told officers that upon entering the residence on Sept. 14, they discovered that someone had broken in and that several areas inside the home had been damaged. The residence was vacant at the time of the burglary.
Larceny from Vehicle
At approximately 10 p.m. on Sept. 14, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to the area of Sudley Rd and Plantation Ln for several citizen reports of a suspicious person attempting to open vehicle doors. Upon arrival, officers met with a resident who said that moments prior, someone stolen his cell phone, valued at $400, from his vehicle where it was parked on the 8600 block of Devonshire Ct. The victim reportedly followed the suspect on foot towards Digges Rd until the suspect entered the back of a white sedan that drove off toward Sudley Rd.
DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT:
Black male, 6’, 220 lbs, with a medium-length beard, burgundy shirt, and black shorts
Vandalism
On Sept. 11, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8900 block of Bonham Cir for a report of a vandalism. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 10 and 10 p.m. on Sept. 11, someone broke a window and made a hole in the backyard fence. No items were reported stolen. Damages were estimated at $150.
Breaking & Entering
On Sept. 8, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9100 block of Euclid Ave for a report of a burglary. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 3 p.m. on Sept. 7 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 8, someone entered his residence and caused damage throughout, some of which was a result of a fire extinguisher having been deployed. The cost of damages was approximately $400.
