Manassas City Police make arrest after maintenance staff finds vacant apartment in use

Breaking and Entering - Arrest
At approximately 3:15PM on November 1, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 9500 block of Tapok Dr for a report of breaking and entering.  According to the reporting party, property management staff was entering a vacant unit in order to perform maintenance work when he encountered a male who appeared as if he had just showered in the residence.  The individual was in the process of using the dryer inside the unit when he was found and fled the property on foot.  Units were given a description and located the suspect on the 8300 block of Quarry Rd.

Jadrien Teauran Wallace (33) of 12540 Brenmill Ln was arrested for unlawful entry.  Wallace’s bond was set at $2,500.00 and he has a court date of December 7, 2013.

Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling
At approximately 5:50PM on October 29, 2013 Manassas City Police were dispatched to the 8400 block of Saddle Ct for a report of a discharged firearm.

Upon further investigation, Officers recovered several .25 and .40 caliber shell casings from the 8400 block of Saddle Ct and the intersection of Kirby St and Battle Ct.  Bullets were recovered from two vehicles parked on the 8400 block of Saddle Ct and there was also evidence of one bullet entering a residence on the 8400 block and another entering a second residence on the 8800 block of Saddle Ct.  Minor property damage but no injuries were reported.

Description of suspects: Three black males wearing dark clothing, approximately 15-20 years old, 5’-9” to 6’-0” in height, and weighing between 170 and 180 lbs.  One of the males had shoulder-length dread-lock style hair.  The suspects were last seen running north and west from the 8400 block of Saddle Ct towards Liberia Ave and Cannon Ridge Dr.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Hit and Run
On November 2, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 9800 block of Town Ln for a report of a hit and run.  Upon arrival, Officers discovered that three vehicles had been struck while parked in spaces along the street.  A witness was able to identify the suspect vehicle as a dark colored pickup truck traveling northwest from Buckner Rd in the direction of Hood Rd.

Total damage to three victims’ vehicles is estimated at $2,800.00.  This is an ongoing investigation.

Motor Vehicle Theft
On November 1, 2013 Manassas City Police met with a citizen who reported her vehicle stolen.  According to the victim, her vehicle was last seen parked in the lot of “Mackey’s American Pub,” located at 9412 Main St, at approximately 11:00PM on October 30, 2013.  When she returned to retrieve her vehicle at noon on October 31, 2013 she discovered it was missing.

Vehicle description: Black 2010 Hyundai Sonata with manual transmission, a small dent on the back quarter panel and a small dent on the front left hood

Larceny
On November 3, 2013 Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 10200 block of Bens Way for a report of a larceny.  The reporting party stated that three bicycles had gone missing out of her front yard sometime between 5:00PM and 6:30PM the same day.  The bicycles together were valued at over $200.00.

Description of missing items: One purple Novar Pixie girl’s bicycle, one pink girl’s bicycle with a picture of a blonde girl with a pony tail on the side, and one pink and black Razor girl’s bicycle
