Manassas city police investigate report of shots fired

At approximately 8:10PM on December 5, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 8400 block of Battle Ct for a report of shots fired.

Witnesses stated that after hearing two loud gunshots nearby, they saw a late model black Honda pick-up truck in the parking lot on Battle Ct.  The truck then exited the parking lot with its lights turned off and was last seen proceeding south on Kirby St before turning south on Liberia Ave.

Upon further investigation, Officers located two bullet casings in the parking lot on the 8400 block of Battle Ct.  Officers canvassed the surrounding area where no further damage was found.
