Hit & Run (Vehicle)
On Sept. 7, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9900 block of Hampton Rd for a report of a hit and run. The reporting party told officers that sometime between midnight and 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 7, his vehicle had been struck while parked along the street. Damages to the driver’s side rear panel and rear bumper were estimated at $1,500.
Larceny
On Sept. 7, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9600 block of Aspen Pl for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that sometime during the overnight hours of Sept. 5, someone entered the backyard of the residence and stole several power tools to include nail guns, air compressors, and saws. The stolen items were valued together at $1,700.
Vandalism to Auto
On Sept. 5, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8600 block of Bruton Parish Ct for a report of a vandalism to auto. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 12:15 a.m. and 9 a.m., someone slashed all four tires on her vehicle. Damages were estimated at $1,000.
Breaking & Entering
On Sept. 6, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to Waste Management, located at 8305 Quarry Rd, for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m., the metal wall siding and a lock on the building sustained damage where someone apparently gained or attempted to gain entry. No items were reported stolen.
