Manassas city police beat for 8/21/13

Malicious Wounding – Arrest
On Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at approximately 7:25PM, Manassas City Police Officers responded to the area of 9200 Taney Road for a report of an assault in progress. Officers discovered an adult male with non-life-threatening injuries to his face.  The victim was treated by EMS personnel.  Officers conducted an investigation which resulted in the arrest of Mr. Weber.  Christopher Steven Weber, 25, of 4885 Kilby Ct., Woodbridge (22193) was charged with Malicious Wounding and held at the ADC without bond, pending a September 24 court appearance.

Stolen Auto
Manassas City Police are investigating the theft of a dark blue 2004 Dodge Intrepid from the 9700 block of Bragg Lane.  The owner reported that the theft occurred sometime between the evening of Monday, August 19, and 4:00AM Tuesday, August 20, 2013.  The owner believes the keys were taken from her house the day before.  The car had handicap tags and a cross hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Larcenies from Auto
Manassas City Police are investigating the theft of items from three cars parked in driveways of residences on the 9600 of Cloverhill Road and the 10000 block of Greenleaf Drive.  The items were discovered missing on the morning of Tuesday, August 20, 2013.  Cash, electronics, a GPS unit, a purse, prescription medication and shoes were reported stolen.  The cars had been left unlocked.
