Manassas City police beat for 6/26/13

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 25, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 8700 block of Mathis Ave for a shooting.  Following an altercation that took place in the parking lot, the suspect furnished a handgun and fired a single shot at the victim, missing him.  The suspect then fled the scene and was apprehended in Prince William County within two hours after the incident occurred.

Christopher Russell Golembe (28) of 8807 Portner Ave was charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.  He was held on no bond and has a pending court date of August 6, 2013.
