Robbery
At approximately 9:00 p.m. on June 22, 2013 Manassas City Police met with a pizza restaurant employee who reported being robbed on the 8800 block of Oliver Ct earlier in the evening while attempting to deliver an order. According to the victim, he was approached by three males at the entrance to the building that demanded money and attempted to extract cash out of his pockets. When a female exited the building and drove away in an older model, gray Saturn two-door vehicle, the three male suspects left the area quickly on foot through the parking lot. The three suspects were described as follows:
Suspect 1: Light-skinned, clean-shaven black male, approximately 18 to 20 years old and 6’-1” to 6’-3”. Multiple tattoos on the arms and chest, including a teardrop underneath the right eye in red ink. Last seen wearing a red and black polo shirt with black shorts at the time of the incident.
Suspect 2: Heavy set black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old and 5’-8” with ear-length dreadlocks and a full beard. Last seen wearing a white tank-top at the time of the incident.
Suspect 3: Thin black male, approximately 15 to 17 years old and 5’-7” with short hair. Last seen wearing an “Ed Hardy” shirt at the time of the incident.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Destruction of Property
At approximately 9:00 a.m. on June 22, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to Jennie Dean Park, located at 9680 Wellington Rd, for a report of vandalism. Once on scene, the Officer met with a resident who reported that when she entered the park the same morning, she discovered several items had been damaged throughout the restrooms and recreational facilities. The park was last known to be secure at approximately 10:15 a.m. on June 21, 2013.
Breaking and Entering
At approximately 12:00 noon on June 21, 2013, Manassas City Police responded to “Exposed Temptations Tattoo”, located at 8686 Liberia Ave. According to a store associate, someone(s) unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry through the one of the doors, most likely when the business’s alarm was triggered at 1:30 a.m. on June 21, 2013. This is an ongoing investigation.
Breaking and Entering
At approximately 9:00 a.m. on June 21, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to “Foster’s Grille”, located at 9417 West St, for a report of breaking and entering. According to a store associate, someone(s) unsuccessfully attempted to enter the restaurant through the back door at approximately 11:15 p.m. on June 20, 2013. This is an ongoing investigation.
Breaking and Entering
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on June 22, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 9400 block of Corey Dr for a report of breaking and entering. According to the victims, someone(s) entered the residence between June 15 and June 22, 2013 and stole two laptop computers and one ladies’ Rolex watch valued altogether at approximately $10,000.00. This is an ongoing investigation.
Robbery
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on June 25, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 9200 block of Prescott Ave for a report of a robbery. According to the victim, he was counting cash in his friend’s vehicle when the suspect, who was in the back seat, grabbed the money and exited the vehicle. He was last seen running along Prescott Ave wearing an orange t-shirt, black shorts, and sneakers.
The suspect is further described as a thin, muscular black male approximately 5’-6” to 5’-8” and 25-29 years old. He had neck-length dreadlocks and was introduced to the victim as “CJ”.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Indecent Exposure (Arrest)
At approximately 2:00 p.m. on June 23, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the common area greens between Taney Rd and Hood Rd for a report of indecent exposure. According to victims, a male suspect exited the backyard of a residence on the 9200 block of Taney Rd and proceeded to urinate in public view. The suspect, still exposed, returned to the yard where he was later identified by Officers using the witnesses’ description. Juan Solano (44) of 9241 Taney Rd was charged with Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct, and Drunk in Public. He was held on a $4,000.00 bond.

Attempted Unlawful Entry (Arrest)
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 23, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 9700 block of Bragg Ln for the report of someone attempting to break into the rear of a residence. Upon arrival, the Officer identified the subject to be John Holmes (21) of 9209 Douglas St. Holmes was charged with Attempted Unlawful Entry, Destruction of Property, and Public Intoxication and was held on a $2,500.00 unsecure bond. He has a pending court date of July 23, 2013.
