Manassas city police beat for 6/14/13

Larceny
On Tuesday, June 11, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 8500 block of Liberia Ave in reference to a larceny.  According to the victim, someone(s) broke into his 2000 Honda Civic between the hours of 8:00 p.m. on June 10 and 5:00 a.m. on June 11 and stole several items.  Among those taken were an intake manifold and throttle body and a subwoofer.  The vehicle was parked on the street near the victim’s residence at the time of the theft.

Larceny from Auto
On Wednesday, June 12, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to Headquarters for a report of larceny from a vehicle.  According to the victim, someone(s) entered her unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours of June 11 and stole a newly purchased Samsung Galaxy 4S cell phone.  The phone was discovered missing the morning of June 12.

Larceny
On June 12, 2013 Manassas City Police responded to the 10000 block of Wellington Rd for a report of larceny from a building.  According to the site manager, someone(s) entered an unfinished single family home between the hours of 4:30 p.m. on June 11 and 9:00 a.m. on June 12 and stole electrical wire valued at approximately $1,800.00.  This is an ongoing investigation.

Breaking and Entering
On June 12, 2013 Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 9200 block of George St for the report of a breaking and entering.  According to the victim, there were three unknown subjects in his bedroom when he entered it from the hallway at approximately 9:00 p.m.  The three suspects were in possession of his cell phone and demanded money from the victim.  When the victim responded that he had none and proceeded to yell for help, the three men fled the residence on foot in the direction of the greens between George St and Beech Pl.

The three suspects were described as follows:
·      One black male, 6’1”, 250 lbs, approximately 20 years old, with black hair pulled back into a pony tail
·      Two black males, approximately 5’8”, 17-18 years old with thin build, wearing dark colored shorts, black shoes and no shirts

This is an ongoing investigation.
