Manassas city police beat for 4/24/13

Assault/DUI - Arrest
On Sunday, April 21, at approximately 8:00PM, Manassas City Police responded to the “Olde Town Sports Pub” at 8971 Center Street for a report of a disorderly patron who had been violent and then driven off in a vehicle.  He was stopped by responding officers near Centreville Road and Maple Street.  After an investigation, Steven Joseph Blanchette, Jr., 35, of Bristow, was arrested and charged with: Attempted B&E with the Intent to Commit Assault, DUI 2nd in 5 years, Refusal, Disorderly Conduct, Assault & Battery, Destruction of Property and Resisting Arrest.  He was held without bond at the ADC pending a June 4 court appearance.

Larcenies from Auto - Arrest
On Sunday, April 21, at approximately 3:20AM, Manassas City Police responded to the area of Karlo Street and Janja Court for a report of larcenies from five unlocked, parked cars.  Officers located and apprehended a 17 year old male, who had stolen items in his possession.  Charges are pending follow up with Juvenile Intake.
