Stolen Auto
On 8/13/15 a citizen reported to police that her 2003 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen from the parking garage at 9102 Prince William Street. The vehicle was stolen between 8:00 pm and 9:45 pm. The vehicle was left unsecured. Investigation ongoing.
Vandalism to Auto(s)
On 8/13/15 a citizen reported to police that the window to his 2007 BMW was smashed while parked at the parking garage at 9102 Prince William Street. The incident occurred between 7:45 am and 8 pm. Damage is estimated at $500. Investigation ongoing.
On 8/14/15 a citizen reported to police that two of her tires were flattened on her 2004 Toyota while parked on the 9000 block of Sandalwood drive. The incident occurred between 1:00 am and 3:00 am. Investigation ongoing.
On 8/17/15 a citizen reported his rear window of his Nissan Rogue had been shot out with what appeared to be a pellet gun while parked on the 10000 block of Floweree Lane. The incident occurred between 9pm on 8/16/15 and 7am 8/17/15. Damage is estimated at $300. Investigation ongoing.
On 8/18/15 at 2:45 am police discovered a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am with the driver side mirror broken off parked at the corner of Confederate Trail and Burnside Road. Damage appeared intentional and consistent with recent vandalism. Investigation ongoing.
A short time later a Ford F-250 pickup truck was discovered by police with two tires cut, parked on the 9900 block of Confederate Trail. Damage estimated at $400. Investigation ongoing.
On 8/17/15 a citizen reported the spare tire to his 2013 Ford F-150 was stolen while parked on the 9100 block of Battle Street sometime between 8/15/15 and 8/17/15. Loss is estimated at $500. Investigation ongoing.
Stolen Auto
On 8/17/15 at approximately 1:00 am a citizen reported to police that the gates to E-Cars and Sales at 9150 Prince William Street were severely damaged. Police investigation revealed an unknown suspect(s) had stolen a 2006 Infiniti from the lot and smashed through the gates. A short time later, police located the vehicle parked on the 9200 block of Byrd Drive with extensive damage, unoccupied. Investigation ongoing.
Burglary
On 8/17/15 a citizen reported their residence had been broken into on the 8700 block of Country Lane between 1:00 am and 7:00 am. There were no signs of forced entry and various items were reported missing to include a purse, wallet, credit cards and cash. Loss estimated at $500. Investigation ongoing.
