Hit and Run
Manassas City Police Officers are investigating a Hit & Run incident that occurred in the 9000 block of Center Street at approximately 11:10 a.m. on Aug.17, 2012. The victim told officers that he was travelling on Center Street when his vehicle, a 2005 Saturn, was struck by a grey van. He also said that he was assaulted by the suspect driver when they both pulled over. The suspect then drove off without exchanging vehicle information with the victim. The suspect was described as a 40 to 50-year old white male. This is an ongoing investigation.
Larceny
Manassas City Police Officers responded to White Horse Antiques, located at 9200 Prescott Avenue, regarding a larceny. The store owner told officers that between 2 and 4 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2012, someone(s) broke into his jewelry display case and stole several pieces of jewelry. He told officers that he would supply them with a complete list of the stolen items at a later date. This is an ongoing investigation.
Threats Arrest
On August 19, 2012, at approximately 4 p.m., Manassas City Police Officers were summoned to the 8700 block of Deblanc Place, regarding an intoxicated female who was threatening to kill two males. The victims told officers that Sonia Christine Dallen was extremely intoxicated and had threatened to kill them. They said that while at the residence, she began what the victims both described as unwanted fondling. After telling her to leave, she told them that she was an undercover federal agent. She then assaulted both males and vandalized a guitar. Dallen was found by officers walking on Signal Hill Road a short time later. She was placed under arrest due to her level of intoxication. While being transported to the detention center, Dallen told officers that she was a terrorist and would be returning to bomb and kill the two male victims. Sonia Christine Dallen,47, of 9716 Fairview Avenue, was placed under arrest and charged with Assault (x2) Sexual Battery (x2) Impersonate a Law Enforcement Officer, Intoxicated In Public, Destruction of Property and Threats to Bomb/Burn. She was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. Her court date was set for October 9, 2012. The victims, both 19 years old, did not sustain any injuries stemming from this incident.
