Sexual Assault Plea
On June 11, 2012, Stefon Rodney Christian, 48, pleaded guilty to 22 sex crimes. Prosecutors recommended that he receive a sentence of 20-30 years in prison. Christian will be sentenced on Sept. 27, 2012.
Indictments (Previously Released)
Since November 2011, Manassas City Police Investigators have been contacted by additional victims alleging sexual abuse by Steffon Rodney Christian. The investigation spans nearly three decades, involving minor children. As a result of the investigation, a 63-count indictment against Steffon Rodney Christian was handed down by a Prince William County Grand Jury on March 6, 2012. Christian, a former Manassas City school employee, was charged with four counts of Forcible Sodomy Against a Juvenile, in November 2011. Sexual Assault Arrest (Previously Released)
On Nov. 16, 2011, Manassas City Police, in cooperation with the Prince William County Police, arrested Stefon Rodney Christian, of 10210 Oxfordshire Drive, charging him with four counts of Forcible Sodomy Against a Juvenile. He is currently being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. Manassas City Police recently investigated allegations regarding sexual assaults stemming from the mid-1990s, involving a former Manassas City school employee. The victim, now an adult, came forward and advised police of the alleged sexual abuse spanning from 1993 until 1997. Homicide Plea
On June 12, 2012, Keby Moya pleaded guilty to one count of Second Degree Murder. His sentencing date is set for Oct. 15, 2012.
Homicide (Previously Released)
On Oct. 15, 2011, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 8600 block of Braxted Lane regarding a report of a stabbing. Upon the officers’ arrival, they found a 28-year-old male deceased from apparent stab wounds, inside the residence. The offender, Keby Moya, 18, of 8620 Braxted Lane, was still on scene when officers arrived. Moya was taken into custody without incident. Further investigation revealed that the stabbing stemmed from a domestic argument. Moya was placed under arrest and charged with 1st Degree Murder. He is currently being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date was set for Nov.29, 2011.
Pursuit
On June 6, 2012, at approximately 12:10 p.m., a Manassas City Police Officer was patrolling the area of Nokesville Road and Wellington Road when he attempted to stop a motorcycle that had been previously reported stolen from North Carolina. A traffic stop was attempted but the driver refused to stop for the officers. A brief pursuit ensued and was terminated several minutes later in Prince William County.
The driver was described as a white male, wearing a white t-shirt, blue windbreaker type pants and a black helmet. The driver had tattoos on his left arm. The motorcycle is described as a 2009 Honda, black in color. The North Carolina tag that was displayed on the motorcycle at the time of the incident was 3W8488. This is an ongoing investigation.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest
On June 6, 2012 at approximately 1 a.m. Manassas City Police Officers responded to Prince William Hospital, regarding a wanted subject who was visiting someone at the hospital. Upon arrival, police encountered and attempted to arrest William Patterson. Patterson ran from officers but was soon apprehended, with the use of a T.A.S.E.R. gun. William Reginald Patterson, 24, of 10090 Irongate Way, was placed under arrest and charged with Resisting Arrest, along with the outstanding warrant from Prince William County. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, on a $2,500 bond. His court date was set for June 20, 2012.
Aggravated Assault Arrest
On June 9, 2012 at approximately noon, Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 9800 block of Buckner Road, regarding an assault. Upon their arrival, they found the victim, bleeding from her head. She told officers that she was arguing with an acquaintance, Kevin Roberts, when he assaulted her. Kevin Allen Roberts, 23, of 9810 Buckner Road, was placed under arrest and charged with Malicious Wounding. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date was set for July 24, 2012.
