National Prescription Drug Take Back Drive
Manassas City Police and Prince William Hospital along with U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and others are supporting a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Drive on Saturday, April 28, 2012, with collection sites in local communities.
Manassas City Police Officers will be manning a collection site at Prince William Hospital, 8700 Sudley Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The drop-off site will be located under a white tent between the main entrance and the Birthing Center entrance. Dropping off old, discarded, expired or no longer needed prescriptions at the site is free of charge, no questions asked, and anonymous. Intravenous solutions, needles and illicit substances will not be accepted.
