Peeping Tom
On March 7, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to the 10200 block of Manassas Mill Rd for a report of a possible prowler. The reporting party told officers that since she moved into her apartment in early February, she had noticed footprints outside her residence and suspicious sounds on various occasions. There were no signs of forced entry.

Malicious Wounding – Arrest
At approximately 8:40AM on March 4, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to the 8700 block of Bretton Woods Dr to check on a family’s welfare. Upon arrival, officers heard screaming and entered the residence, where they discovered two victims that had been assaulted by the suspect, Jose A. TORRES FLORES. The suspect then barricaded himself in a room with a juvenile female. The officers assisted the two adult females who had sustained injuries as a result of having been assaulted. Officers were able to then safely retrieve the child and apprehend TORRES FLORES, 40, without incident. He was charged with two counts of abduction and two counts of malicious wounding. TORRES was held without bond and has a court date of April 15, 2015. This is an ongoing investigation.
