Manassas City Police are investigating the theft of a Honda test pump motor that was stolen from a work site located on Lake Jackson Drive.
The construction site manager told officers that the 8 horsepower motor, valued at approximately $500, was stolen between 8 p.m. on March 17, 2012 and 9:10 a.m. on March 19, 2012. This is an ongoing investigation.

Synthetic Cannabinoids Citation
On March 19, 2012, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Manassas City Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a 2000 Mercury two door sedan, due to his driving behavior. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Curtis Andrew Booth, 25, of 6745 Davis Ford Drive, was in possession of a small bag of synthetic cannabinoids. Booth was issued a summons for Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids. His court date is unknown.

The Manassas City Police Department would like to take this opportunity to inform the public that it is illegal to possess synthetic cannabinoids, commonly known as “fake weed.” Possession of synthetic cannabinoids is a Class 1 misdemeanor. If convicted, you could face up to one year of incarceration and up to $2,500 in fines.
