Aggravated Assault
On March 19, 2012, at approximately 7:55 p.m., a Manassas City Police Officer was patrolling the area of Prince William Hospital when a male walked up to him and advised him that he had been shot. The victim was suffering from two gunshot wounds to his left arm pit and one to the left tricep area. Further investigation revealed that between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on the same date, the victim was in the area of George Street attempting to purchase narcotics when a male attempted to rob him. The victim fled the area then drove himself to the hospital where he flagged down the officer. He was then transported to a regional hospital due to the extent of his injuries. The suspect was described as black, mid 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, 150 lbs with short curly hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, a green polo style shirt with a black t-shirt underneath it. This is an ongoing investigation.
