Domestic Assault Arrest
On Feb. 26, 2012, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Manassas City Police Officers were summoned to the 9000 block of Centreville Road, regarding an assault. Upon their arrival, they were met by an intoxicated male yelling at them from the front door of his residence. The male, Glenn Eugene Kiger, of 9021 Centreville Road (lot 5) was placed in restraints and detained, to avoid further incidents.

Witnesses told officers that Kiger was extremely intoxicated and that he assaulted a family member numerous times throughout the afternoon. Glenn Eugene Kiger, 48, was placed under arrest and charged with Felony Domestic Assault, due to his past domestic violence convictions. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date is unknown.

Domestic Assault Arrest
On Feb. 26, 2012, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Manassas City police officers responded to the 9600 block of Grant Avenue, regarding an assault.
The victim told officers that she was having an argument with a family member when she was assaulted by him. Kevin J. Derr, 38, of 905 North Henry Street, Alexandria, VA, was placed under arrest and charged with one count of Domestic Assault. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, on a $2,000 bond. His court date is unknown.

Assault Arrest
On Feb. 25, 2012, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Manassas City police officers responded to the 9000 block of Sandalwood Drive, regarding a male who was intoxicated on Phencyclidine (PCP). Upon the officers’ arrival, they were advised by rescue personnel that the male, Paul Carter, 45, of 46110 Fessenden Terrace, Sterling, VA, was being transported to the hospital. While being treated at the hospital, Carter spat on one of the nurses. He was quickly placed under arrest and charged with Assault and Batter and Public Intoxication. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, on a $1,000 bond. His court date was set for April 10, 2012.
