Attempted Robbery
On March 10, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident for a report of a robbery. The reporting party told officers that at approximately 8:30PM on March 7, 2015, two unknown male subjects walked up behind him as he was entering his residence on the 9600 block of Aspen Pl and asked for money. When the victim denied their request, one suspect struck the victim, knocking him to the ground. The first suspect continued to assault him while the second went through his pockets. No money or valuables were stolen as a result of the incident. This is an ongoing investigation.
Description of suspects: (1) Medium-skinned, heavy-set, Hispanic male, approximately 6’0”-6’2” tall, wearing a black long sleeve shirt with a red vest and light blue jeans; (2) Dark-skinned, thin, black male, approximately 6’0”-6’2” tall, wearing black pants and a black shirt
Larceny of Auto Parts
On March 9, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to Northern Virginia Public Auto Auction, located at 10700 Wakeman Ct, for a report of stolen auto parts. The reporting party told officers that sometime over the weekend of March 7-8, 2015, someone broke into the business’s vehicle lot through the fence and stole catalytic converters from ten vehicles. The parts were valued at $1,000.00 together. This is an ongoing investigation.

Vice Narcotics Task Force Executes Search Warrant that Results in Arrests
Last night, Manassas City Investigators, in collaboration with the Prince William County/Manassas/Manassas Park Vice Narcotics Task Force, concluded a three-month-long investigation into the exchange of sexual services for money at Blue Sky Massage, located at 8701 Digges Rd, Suite B, with the arrests of two adult women. Numerous items were recovered from the business as a result of a search warrant executed during the evening hours of March 10, 2015. Both suspects have a pending court date of April 3, 2015. This is an ongoing investigation with additional charges pending.
