Hit & Run
Manassas City police officers are investigating a Hit & Run incident that occurred between 3 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2012 and 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2012, in the 9400 block of Taney Road. The victim told officers that sometime throughout the night or early in the morning, someone struck the rear of his 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. The victim’s vehicle sustained approximately $600 in damages. This investigation is ongoing.
Larceny
Manassas City Police Officers were called to a construction site, located at 9020 Liberia Avenue, regarding a theft. Upon their arrival, they were advised by the site supervisor that between 3 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2012 and 5:45 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2012, someone(s) stole a metal door and metal studs from the site. The stolen property was valued at over $600. This investigation is ongoing.
Robbery
Manassas City police officers responded to Prince William Hospital regarding a robbery that occurred on Feb. 3, 2012, at approximately 2:25 a.m., near the Shell Gas station, located at 10155 Hastings Road.
The victim told officers that he was at the gas station parking lot to meet two women that he had met over the internet. He said that upon his arrival, the two females entered his vehicle and directed him to a nearby neighborhood cul-de-sac. Upon arriving at the location, a male appeared and assaulted and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money.
The victim described one female as white, wearing a grey sweatshirt with blue jeans. He said that she had tattoos on her chest. The second female was also described as white and wearing a pink or red top with blue jeans. The victim could not supply officers with the male’s description. The victim sustained an injury to his head, stemming from this incident. This investigation is ongoing.

Larceny Arrest
Manassas City police officers were called to the 8400 block of Stonewall Road, regarding the theft of a game system. The victim advised officers that between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2012, his “Xbox 360” and a game were stolen from his room. Further investigation revealed that Shanika Ewell, 20, of 8498 Stonewall Road had stolen the items. Shanika Ewell was placed under arrest and charged with Grand Larceny. She was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
