Vandalism
On Feb. 23, 2012, at approximately 11:05 p.m., a Manassas City police pfficer was conducting foot patrol in the “greens,” near the area of Maury Lane and Hood Road, when he observed 4-6 males in an area that is considered to be trespassing after 10 p.m. The officer then heard a loud noise that turned out to be someone throwing a trash can onto a parked truck. The juveniles denied involvement after being detained and questioned about the vandalism. All the juveniles were cited for Trespassing and turned over to their parents. The truck sustained approximately $200 in damages. This investigation is ongoing.
Larceny
On Feb. 24, 2012, Manassas City police officers were summoned to the 9200 block of Timberwood Court, regarding a larceny. The victim told officers that between 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2012 and 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 24, 2012, someone(s) broke into his truck’s tool box and stole approximately $1,200 in tools. This investigation is ongoing.
Graffiti
Manassas City police officers were called to the 9600 block of Old Wellington Road, regarding graffiti. A passerby told officers that he noticed fresh graffiti sprayed on a fence. The word that was spray painted on the fence was not gang related. This investigation is ongoing.
Hit & Run
Manassas City Police Officers were called to the Department of Motor Vehicles, located at 9800 Godwin Drive, regarding a Hit & Run incident that had occurred in the parking lot. The victim told officers that he was in the parking lot when the driver of a small black car, possibly a Toyota, backed into him. The victim told the other driver, a young black male, to wait for the police, when the male drove out of the parking lot. The victim’s vehicle, a 1997 Toyota, sustained approximately $500.00 in damages. This investigation is ongoing.
Thefts/Vandalisms
On Feb, 26, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers were called to the 10400 block of Colonel Court, regarding multiple thefts from and vandalisms to vehicles. A resident told officers that he arrived at work and discovered that multiple vehicles that were parked outside had been broken into and or vandalized. Officers counted 13 vehicles that had been tampered with. Stereo face plates were stolen from some of the cars while other vehicles showed signs of thefts and vandalism. This incident occurred between 12:p.m. on Feb. 25, 2012 and 10:05 a.m. on Feb. 26, 2012.This is an ongoing investigation.
Thefts/Vandalisms
On Feb. 25, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers were called to the 8800 block of Oliver Court, regarding multiple thefts from and vandalisms to vehicles. The caller advised officers that between 11 p.m. on Febr. 24, 2012 and 10:15 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2012, someone(s) vandalized approximately ten cars that were parked in the parking lot. The vandals slashed the seats and stole items from many of the vehicles. It is unknown if these vandalisms are connected with the incidents that occurred in the area of Colonel Court. This is an ongoing investigation.
Robbery
On Feb. 26, 2012, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Manassas City police officers were called to the Citgo gas station, located at 8536 Sudley Road, regarding an unconscious male in the parking lot. After being examined by rescue personnel, the male told officers that he did not remember what happened, only that he had made a purchase at the gas station and was walking out the store when he passed out. He said that he woke up only to find that his medication was stolen, along with an undisclosed amount of currency. Officers at the scene have collected video surveillance from stores in the area and will be following up with this investigation. This is an ongoing investigation.

Aggravated Assault-Arrests
A Crime Solvers tip has led to two arrests regarding an assault that occurred on Feb. 3, 2012 near the Shell gas station, located at 10155 Hastings Road. Sierra Nicole Phelps, 21, of 17093 Loftridge Lane and Debra Jackson, 22, of 7603 Glenolden Place, have been arrested and charged with Prostitution, Robbery and Malicious Wounding. They are both being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. Their court dates have been set for April 14, 2012. Warrants have been obtained on Anthony Dwayne Nelson,23, for Robbery and Malicious Wounding. He is described as black, six feet, 180 lbs with long hair.
Aggravated Assault (Previously Released)
Manassas City police officers responded to Prince William Hospital regarding a robbery that occurred on Feb. 3, 2012, at approximately 2:25 a.m., near the Shell Gas station, located at 10155 Hastings Road. The victim told officers that he was at the gas station parking lot to meet two women that he met online. He said that upon his arrival, the two females entered his vehicle and directed him to a nearby neighborhood cul-de-sac. Upon arriving at the location, a male appeared and assaulted and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money.
