Gas Larceny
Manassas City police officers responded to the Citgo gas station, located at 8536 Sudley Road, regarding a gasoline larceny. Management advised officers that on Feb. 12, 2012, at approximately 10:43 a.m., a Hispanic female, driving a Toyota Sienna, pumped $63.01 worth of gasoline into her vehicle then drove off without paying for the gas. The license tag that was displayed on the vehicle was a Virginia tag, KRN-5770, which returned to a grey Saturn. This investigation is ongoing.
Burglary
Manassas City Police were summoned to Tom’s Diner, located at 9003 Centreville Road, regarding a burglary. The manager told officers that sometime between midnight and 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 12, 2012, someone(s) had broken into the restaurant and stole an undisclosed amount of currency. The offender(s) also caused approximately $200 of damages to the building. This investigation is ongoing.
Burglary
On Feb.13, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 8500 block of Fairfax Street, regarding a burglary. The victim told officers that someone had broken into the residence and stolen a Playstation 3 console, valued at approximately $300.00. The victim could not supply the officers with a complete list of stolen items until an inventory was completed by all the roommates of the house. This is an ongoing investigation.

Narcotics Arrest
On Feb. 12, 2012, at approximately 7:45 p.m., a Manassas City police officer was patrolling the area of Grant Avenue and Portner Avenue when he observed the driver of a 1996 Toyota, committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was stopped for the offense when further investigation revealed that the passenger, Crystal Lynne Gray, 26, of 7584 Helmsdale Place, was in possession of marijuana. Gray was cited for Possession of Marijuana. Her court date was set for March 13, 2012.
Narcotics Arrest
On Feb. 13, 2012, at approximately 2:10 a.m., a Manassas City police officer was patrolling the area of Richmond Avenue and Signal Hill Road when he observed the driver of 1997 Honda, committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was stopped for the offense when further investigation revealed that the driver, Jose Miguel Hernandez. 20, of 9308 Witch Hazel Way, was in possession of marijuana and narcotics contraband. Hernandez was cited for Possession of Marijuana. His court date was set for March 13, 2012.

On Feb. 10, 2012, at approximately 8 p.m., a Manassas City police officer was patrolling the area of 7th Regiment Drive and Cleary Street when he observed a male sleeping in a vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the male, Pablo Amador Sanchez, 22, of 9700 Aspen Place, was in possession of marijuana and narcotics contraband. Sanchez was cited for Possession of Marijuana. His court date was set for March 26, 2012.
DUI Arrest
On Feb. 6, 2012, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a Manassas City police officer, while patrolling the Nokesville Road and Wellington Road area, observed a male on a moped, commit a driving infraction. The officer stopped the driver when further investigation revealed that Tony Edwards Brooks, of 7603 Glenolden Place, was intoxicated. Brooks was also in possession of marijuana. Brooks was placed under arrest and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, on $5,000 secured bond. His court date was set for March 13, 2012.
