Intoxication/Prostitution Arrest
On Feb. 9, 2012, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a Manassas City Police Officer was patrolling near the intersection of Hood Road and Taney Road when he was flagged down by a male stating that he had just been robbed. The intoxicated male told officers that he had been sleeping in his room when a black female broke in and threatened him with a knife, demanding money. Several officers responded to the male’s residence and found Brandi Williams, 21, of 9602 Waterford Drive, still in the room.
Further investigation revealed that the male, Baljit Ahluwalia, 55, of 9252 Hood Road, had summoned Williams to his room for the purpose of having sexual intercourse with her. Williams said that Ahluwalia refused to pay her for her services, once they were done.
Baljit Ahluwalia was placed under arrest and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution, Falsely Summoning Law Enforcement and Public Intoxication. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, on a $3,000 bond. His court date was set for April 3, 2012.
Brandi Williams was cited for Prostitution. Her court date was also set for April 3, 2012.
Assault Arrest
On Feb. 9, 2012, at approximately 4:50 p.m., Manassas City Police Officers were called to the 9300 block of Woodlea Court, regarding an assault. Officers arrived on scene when they were advised by Ramon Ayala that he was assaulted by a family member during an argument. Further investigation revealed that Ayala, of 9309 Woodlea Court was the aggressor in this incident and not the victim. Ramon Ayala was placed under arrest and charged with Domestic Assault. Ayala was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond, by the duty magistrate. His court date has not yet been determined.
Hit & Run
On Feb. 9, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers responded to the area of Centreville Road, near Liberia Avenue, regarding a Hit & Run incident.
The victim advised officers that at approximately 5 p.m., she was travelling on Liberia Avenue when she was rear ended by the driver of a silver sports utility vehicle. The victim’s vehicle, a 2010 Toyota, sustained approximately $500 in damages. This investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism to Auto
On Feb. 10, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers were called to the 8800 block of Tudor Oaks, regarding a vandalism incident. The victim told officers that sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2012, someone(s) slashed three of her vehicle’s tires. The victim’s vehicle, a 1992 Mazda, sustained approximately $200 in damages. This is an ongoing investigation.
Vandalism to Auto
On Feb. 11, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers were called to the 8800 block of Oliver Court, regarding a vandalism incident. The victim told officers that sometime between 6 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2012 and 6 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2012, someone(s) slashed all four of his vehicle’s tires. The offender(s) also wrote a message on the vehicle’s driver’s side door telling the victim to report the incident to the police. The message was written in permanent ink. The victim’s vehicle, a 1994 GMC Sierra, sustained approximately $400 in damages. This is an ongoing investigation.
