Brandishing a Firearm
The Manassas City Police Department investigated a disturbance on the 10300 block of 7th Regiment Drive at approximately 4:30PM Sunday, February 10. Witnesses stated that a man and woman were arguing loudly in front of an apartment when a resident came out with a handgun and pointed it at the man. Another resident of the same apartment had come out shortly before and asked the couple to stop arguing. Andrew Sexton, 26, of Manassas, was issued a summons for Brandishing a Firearm.
DUI, Eluding
A Manassas City Police Department officer was patrolling the area of Centreville Road and Liberia Avenue at approximately 2:23AM Tuesday, February 12, when she noticed a vehicle speeding, weaving and driving without headlights. The driver of the vehicle attempted to elude the officer on Mathis Avenue, but was located and arrested on the 9300 block of Battle Street. Mr. Cengiz Han Camlicay, 31, of Ashburn, was charged with 4th DUI within 10 years (felony), Driving with a Revoked License/DUI Related (felony), felony Eluding, and Refusal of a Breath/Blood Alcohol Test. He is being held at the ADC without bond pending an April 2nd court appearance.
Larceny from Auto, Fraud
The Manassas City Police Department investigated the larceny of a debit card from an unlocked car parked at All Saints Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, on Sunday afternoon, February 10. The investigation revealed that the card had been used at Manassas Mall on the same day. This led to the identification of an adult suspect and a juvenile suspect. Vicente Medina, 18, of Manassas, was charged with Credit Card Theft, Forgery, and Fraud. He was held at the ADC without bond pending a March 20th court appearance.
