Assault Arrest
On Dec. 31, 2011, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Manassas City police officers were called to the 9100 block of Laurelwood Court, regarding a fight. Upon their arrival, they were advised by the victim that the offender, Albert Portillo, 32, of 9194 Landgreen Street, punched him in the face for no apparent reason. Officers then interviewed Portillo when he told them that the fight was over a narcotics deal that had gone bad. Albert Portillo, also known as Alberto Adonias, was placed under arrest and charged with Assault. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, on a $1,500 bond. His court date was set for Jan. 17, 2012.
Assault Arrest
On Dec. 31, 2011, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Manassas City police officers responded to the 8700 block of Sugarwood Lane, regarding an assault. Upon their arrival, they were advised by the victim that the offender, Richard Clayton Stone, of 8226 Winstead Place, had kicked the door in and assaulted her.
Richard Clayton Stone, 31, was still on scene when officers arrived. He was placed under arrest and charged with Burglary with Intent to Assault and Felony Domestic Assault. The second charge was upgraded to a felony due to Stone’s criminal history.
Richard Clayton Stone was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. While at the magistrate’s office, Stone threatened to kill the duty magistrate, therefore; he was also charged with Obstructing or Intimidating a Magistrate. Stone’s court date was set for Jan. 14, 2012.
Wounding Arrest
On Jan. 1, 2012, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Manassas City police pfficers were called to the 8600 block of Braxted Lane, regarding a fight involving a knife. Upon the officers’ arrival, they were advised by one of the witnesses that the offender, Noe Antonio Marquez, of 8608 Braxted Lane was heavily intoxicated and had threatened to stab a family member. Two family members received injuries to their hands when they attempted to take the knife away from him. Noe Antonio Marquez, 25, was placed under arrest and charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date was set for Jan. 17, 2012.
Narcotics Arrest
On Jan. 4, 2012, at approximately 12:05 a.m., a Manassas City police officer was conducting foot patrol in the area of Liberia Avenue and Landgreen Street when he came upon a suspicious occupied vehicle. During questioning, the occupant of the vehicle supplied officers with the name, David Scott Wade Jr. Further investigation revealed that the subject’s real name was Michael Scott Wade, 34, who was wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service on an outstanding warrant.
Wade was placed under arrest and charged with False Identity to Law Enforcement. While preparing to transport him to the detention center, two baggies of what appeared to be cocaine were found on his person. Wade was also charged with Possession of a Schedule I or II Narcotic. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date was set for Feb. 21, 2012.
