Six Larcenies from Auto
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the larceny of items from six different vehicles parked in the following areas of the Wellington neighborhood: 10100 & 10200 blocks of Bens Way, 10100 block of Strawflower Lane, 9300 block of Dahlia Court, 9400 block of Flowerden Lane. Residents reported that during the night of January 15/16, unknown suspect(s) went through six unlocked cars and opened glove boxes and center consoles. Cash, portable electronics and prescription medications were reported stolen.
Residential Burglary (attempted)
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the attempted burglary of a residence on the 8400 block of Kirby Street. A resident reported to police that the attempted burglary occurred sometime between January 12 and January 16. Basement window screens were damaged and partially removed. The unknown suspect did not gain entry into the residence.
