Burglary
Manassas City Police are investigating a Burglary that occurred in the 9600 block of Branchview Lane, on Dec. 4, 2011, at approximately 2:25 a.m. The victim advised officers that she heard and saw someone attempting to gain entry into her residence through her patio door. The victim could not provide officers with a suspect’s description. The area was canvassed by officers and K-9, with negative results. Evidence was collected at the scene and turned into the lab. This investigation is ongoing.
Larceny from Auto
Manassas City Police are investigating a larceny that occurred in the parking lot of “Glory Days” restaurant, located at 9516 Liberia Avenue. The victim advised officers that on 12-4-2011, at approximately 6:10 p.m., he entered his vehicle when he realized that someone had stolen a “Sony Explode” subwoofer from the vehicle. The stolen property was valued at approximately $150. This investigation is ongoing.
Residents are reminded not to leave anything of value inside their vehicles and to always keep their vehicles locked.

Marijuana Citation
On Dec. 2, 2011, at approximately 6:55 p.m., a Manassas City police officer was patrolling the area of Old Town when he observed the driver of a Toyota Camry commit a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Oscar E. Orozco Rodriguez, attempted to walk away from the scene after officers stopped the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that Orozco Rodriguez was in possession of marijuana. Oscar E. Orozco Rodriguez was cited for Possession of Marijuana, along with the traffic offenses. His court date is unknown.
Larceny and Eluding Arrest
On Dec. 3, 2011, Manassas City police officers were called to the 9600 block of Grant Avenue regarding an intoxicated male that had stolen items from a neighborhood store. Upon the officers’ arrival, they observed a subject on a bicycle traveling on Grant Avenue matching the offender’s description. One of the officers activated his emergency equipment attempting to stop the fleeing bicyclist, with negative results. While attempting to elude the officers, the offender ran into a Manassas City Police vehicle.
The offender, identified as Antwon Joshua Robinson, 24, of 9024 Old Hickory Court, was placed under arrest and charged with Public Intoxicated and Eluding. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center on a $3,000.00 bond. His court date was set for Jan. 3, 2012.
Assault on Law Enforcement
On Dec. 2, 2011, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Manassas City police officers were patrolling the area of Aspen Place, near George Street, when they encountered an intoxicated male subject. The male, identified as William Louis Hill, 43, of 9703 Aspen Place, became combative during the arrest, striking one of the officers. He then attempted to flee the area but was placed under arrest after a short foot pursuit. Several baggies of marijuana were found on Hill during a search of his person. Hill was charged with Intoxicated in Public, Fleeing, Assault on Law Enforcement and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center on a secured bond. His court date was set for Jan. 24, 2012.
