Manassas City Police Beat 12/28/12

Commercial Burglary
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the burglary of ‘Persnickety Cakes’ at 9105 Center Street.  The burglary occurred at approximately 10:50PM Saturday, December 22.  There were signs of forced entry into the business through a back window.  An undisclosed amount of cash was reported missing.  The investigation is ongoing.

Larceny from Auto
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the larceny of a battery from a box truck on the 8500 block of Phoenix Drive.  A business representative reported to police that the larceny occurred sometime between Friday, December 21 and 8:30AM Thursday, December 27.  There were no signs of forced entry into the truck.

Vandalism to Auto
The Manassas City Police Department is investigating the breaking of a car window on the 8500 block of Richmond Avenue.  The vandalism occurred prior to 3:12AM on Friday, December 28, when a patrolling officer discovered the damage.
