Robbery
On Dec. 27, 2011, at approximately 2 a.m., Manassas City Police Officers were called to the Old Town Inn, located at 9403 Main Street, regarding a robbery. Upon the officers’ arrival, they were told that the victim was in the room with a female friend when someone knocked on his door. Upon answering the door, two black males rushed into the room, one brandishing a gun and the other, a knife. The victim said that he was robbed of clothing, a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of currency.
The first suspect was described as black, 20-30 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, heavy built with a goatee. He was seen wearing a black winter jacket, a black and white baseball cap, with a red t-shirt and jeans. The second male was described as black, 20-30 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, 250 lbs. He was seen wearing a Virginia Tech hooded sweatshirt, khaki colored cargo pants and black and white sneakers. The female, who was possibly involved, was described as black with a light complexion, 20-30 years old, 5’6” tall and weighing approximately 120 lbs. She was seen wearing a pink bandana, a pink t-shirt with the letters “N” and “V” in dark print across the front and carrying a plaid jacket. All subjects involved were caught on surveillance video while leaving the establishment. This is an ongoing investigation.
Hit & Run
Manassas City Police are investigating two possibly related Hit & Run incidents that occurred between 10 p.m., on Dec. 24, 2011 and 5 a.m., on Dec. 25, 2011, near Landgreen Street and Liberia Avenue, the second near Liberia Avenue and Cavalry Lane.
Officers followed a fluid leak, possibly from the offending vehicle, which led them to a residence in the 9100 block of Landgreen Street. There, they obtained the name of the driver that was possibly involved in the incidents. The driver had left the area before officers arrived. This is an ongoing investigation.
Hit & Run
Manassas City Police are investigating a Hit & Run Incident that occurred on Dec. 24, 2011, at approximately 6:15 p.m. Witnesses told officers that they observed an older model grey Toyota SUV, possibly a Four Runner, with painted flames on its sides, exit the parking lot adjacent to the Siam Classic Restaurant, located on 9403 East Street, and collide with the victim’s vehicle. Immediately after the accident, the vehicle backed into the Siam Classic Restaurant parking lot but then left abruptly without speaking to the victim. The Toyota was occupied by two males at the time of the incident. This is an ongoing investigation.
