Robbery
Manassas City police officers are investigating a robbery that occurred on Nov. 8, 2011, at approximately 9:20 p.m., in the 9400 block of Taney Road. Officers were summoned to the area regarding a man with a gun call. Upon their arrival, they found an injured male bleeding from his head.
The victim advised officers that a black male subject had robbed him and hit him in the head numerous times with a pistol. Witnesses stated that they observed a black male assaulting the victim, then running away on foot. The offender was only described as having dreadlocks and wearing a jacket with black and white horizontal stripes. The victim was flown out to Fairfax Hospital due to the extent of his injuries. This investigation is ongoing.
Hit and Run Incident
Manassas City Police Officers are investigating a Hit & Run incident that occurred on Nove. 7, 2011, at approximately 4:30 p.m., in the 9500 block of Stonewall Road, where the offender, whom at the time of incident, identified himself as Daryl Cooper, agreed to contact the victim at a later time to supply him with insurance information.
The offender failed to contact the victim so the police were called. Further investigation revealed that the suspect’s vehicle, a 2004 Honda Civic, was previously stolen out of Fairfax. The driver of the stolen vehicle was described as black, 19-22 years old, 6’0”- 6’2” tall and approximately 160 to 170 lbs. This investigation is ongoing.

Hit and Run Arrest
On Nov. 8, 2011, Manassas City Police officers responded to the 8500 block of Artillery Road, regarding a Hit & Run incident that occurred in the area at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Witnesses stated that they observed a green Ford truck strike a parked vehicle then fled the area without stopping. Further investigation revealed the current location of the suspect’s vehicle. Officers responded to 8510 Cavalry Lane and interviewed the driver, Miguel Soria Rebolloso, 33.
Soria Rebolloso was intoxicated at the time of incident. He was placed under arrest and charged with Felony Hit and Run, Driving Under the Influence and Driving Without an Operator’s License. While at the Detention Center, Soria Rebolloso became combative with the detention center staff and had to be subdued through the use of pepper spray. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center with no bond. His court date was set for Dec. 13, 2011. The damage to the victim’s vehicle was estimated at approximately $8,000.
