Manassas City Police Beat 11/8/11

Motor Vehicle Theft
Manassas City police officers are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle that occurred in the 9600 block of Grant Avenue on Nov. 7, 2011 at approximately 7:30 p.m.

The victim advised officers that he left his vehicle unlocked and running while he got something to eat. He said that he saw the car leaving the parking lot and gave chase, with negative results. The victim could not supply the officers with the suspect’s description. The stolen vehicle was described as a 1999 silver Pontiac Grand Prix.

Residents are reminded not to leave anything of value inside their vehicles and to always keep their vehicles locked.
