Manassas City Police Beat 10/27/11

Home Invasion
Manassas City police officers are investigating a Home Invasion Robbery that occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2011, in the 8900 block of Wood Drift Circle.

The victim advised officers that he answered a knock at his door when a female and two male subjects forced themselves into the residence. According to the victim, the female rifled through the apartment while one male subject restrained him and the other male acted as a lookout.

The female was described as black, 40-50 years old and the two male suspects were described as black, 50-60 years old. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the residence at the time of the incident. The suspects were last seen leaving in a silver Mercedes vehicle.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Larceny of Dog
Manassas City police officers are investigating the theft of a family pet.

The victim stated to officers that on Oct. 26, 2011, at approximately 7:15 p.m., he went outside to feed his dog “Schlitz,” when he discovered that his back yard fence had been kicked in and the dog missing. Schlitz is described as a grey and white pit bull, seven years old, wearing a chain collar with no tag. The owner and the dog reside in the 8800 block of Butternut Street.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Arrest- Assault on Law Enforcement
On Oct. 26, 2011, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Manassas City police officers were called to the area of Forestwood Lane regarding a disorderly female subject.

Upon their arrival, they met with Eugenia Ann Morales, 44, of 9704 Clark Place (Apt 304) who at the time was acting irrational and yelling obscenities at the officers. Officers were in the process of restraining Morales, for her safety, when she bit an officer on her leg and attempted to kick other officers. Morales was placed under arrest and charged with Felony Assault and Attempted Assault on Law Enforcement. She was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center with no bond. Her court date was set for Nov. 18, 2011.

Arrest-Embezzlement
Since July 2011, Manassas City police investigators have been investigating an embezzlement case involving Soil Consultants, located at 9303 Center Street.

The company contacted the police department when they noticed significant questionable transactions on their records.

The investigation led to the arrest of one of their employees, Steven Lamont Pullman, 43, of Annandale, VA. Mr. Pullman was placed under arrest and charged with Embezzlement. He was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. His court date was set for Dec. 14, 2011.
