Manassas City Police Beat 10/15/11

On Oct. 14, 2011, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 8600 block of Braxted Lane regarding a report of a stabbing.

Upon the officers’ arrival, they found a 28-year-old male deceased from apparent stab wounds, inside the residence. The offender, Keby Moya, 18, of 8620 Braxted Lane, was still on scene when officers arrived. Moya was taken into custody without incident. Further investigation revealed that the stabbing stemmed from a domestic argument.

Moya was placed under arrest and charged with First Degree Murder. He is currently being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date was set for Nov. 29, 2011.
