Manassas Battlefield fire management plan available for public review
Manassas National Battlefield Park Fire Management Plan/Environmental Assessment (EA) is now available for public review.
The EA evaluates management options for the update of the Fire Management Plan.
Th document describes three alternatives as well as the environment that would be affected by the alternatives and the environmental consequences of implementing them.
The EA can be downloaded or comments submitted online at: http://parkplanning.nps.gov/MANA (Click on “Fire Management Plan and Environmental Assessment”).
The 45-day comment period for this project began Dec.5 and will conclude on Jan. 19, 2015.
