Man hides nothing from police, pat down not needed; medical check ok

Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County VA Police Department on Tuesday, January 27, 2015


**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Armed Robbery – On January 26, 2015 at 9:05PM, officers responded to the 1200 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge, (22191) in reference to an attempted armed robbery.  The victim, a 26-year old male from Woodbridge, reported that he was walking along Mt. Pleasant Drive when he was passed by 2 males that then turned and began following him.  As he approached the address on Bayside Avenue, the males confronted him and demanded his wallet.  The robbery was interrupted when a person exited his apartment and frightened the suspects away.  The victim received a small cut to his chin but did not require medical attention.
Suspect Descriptions:
#1 – Black male, 5’ 9”, thin build, wearing a full black ski mask, black jacket, camo pants, and displaying a small black pistol.
#2 – Black male, 5’9”, medium to heavy build, wearing a full black ski mask, black jacket, and blue jeans.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On January 25, 2015 at 10:55PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Mary Street in Woodbridge (22191) for a disturbance between 2 people in a basement apartment.  Their investigation revealed that the victim, a 31-year old female, had been assaulted by Mr. Stanley Joshua Cox that resulted in significant injuries.  The victim was transported to a local medical facility for treatment of her injuries.  The victim and suspect were known to each other.  There is no photograph available.
Arrested on January 26th:
Stanley Joshua Cox, 32, of 12920 Occoquan Rd, #13 in Woodbridge
Charged with 1 count of Malicious Wounding and 1 count of Threats to Burn
Court date and bond information: Not Available

Indecent Exposure – On January 26, 2015 at 4:58AM, officers responded to the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Joplin Road in Triangle (22172) following reports of a naked man running down Joplin Road.  As officers approached the suspect, he laid down on the ground and presented himself for arrest.  Anthony Roy Queen, Jr was arrested without incident and was incarcerated after being checked at a local medical facility first.

Anthony Roy Queen, JR, 19, of 4416 Forestburg Lane in Triangle
Charged with 1 count of Indecent Exposure
