Man held without bond after victim allegedly struck in face with rock

Abduction | Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On Monday, Oct. 11, 2021 at 4:53AM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to the 10700 block of Battleview Pkwy in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 28-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, drove to the above area where a verbal altercation escalated. During the encounter, the accused pulled the victim from the vehicle and threw her on the ground where he then laid on top of her, preventing her from leaving.

According to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer, at one point, the accused grabbed the victim’s throat before grabbing a rock and striking her in the face multiple times. The accused then took the victim’s phone before driving away in the vehicle. The victim contacted the police and was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. While investigating, officers determined that the accused was driving on a revoked license. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Tyrone Divaughn Thomas HOLLOMAN. On October 12, the accused was taken into custody without incident.
