Man held without bond after alleged altercations with woman, teen, tasty crime fighter

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] –

On Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 7:45PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 9100 block of Yorkshire Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic.

Upon arrival, officers heard an active altercation and located several individuals to the side of the residence. While investigating, one of the men, later identified as the accused, shoved a family member, identified as a 50-year-old woman. As officers attempted to take the accused into custody, he actively resisted and refused to follow officers’ commands. A brief struggle ensued, during which an officer was bitten before the accused was taken into custody.

The investigation of the domestic revealed that the accused struck both the victim and another family member, identified as a 13-year-old male juvenile, before police arrived at the home. The female victim and the officer reported minor injuries. No injuries were reported by the juvenile victim. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as, Antonio SORIANO MORAN, was arrested.

Charged with 1 count of assault & battery on LEO, 2 counts of domestic assault & battery, 1 count of obstruction of justice, and 1 count of intoxicated in public by interdicted person
