Attempted Malicious Wounding of a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Dec. 26 at 10:53PM,Prince William County Police officers responded to the Walmart located at 17041 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a disorderly. The investigation revealed that a man, later identified as the accused, was refusing to leave the store after the store’s manager trespassed him.
Officers made contact with the accused, who continued to refuse to the leave the property and was determined to be intoxicated. Upon walking towards the exit of the store, the accused brandished a knife towards the officers and took an aggressive stance. The officers took the accused into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Curtis Tyrone MILLER, was arrested.
