Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 at 9:20PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 7900 block of Sharpsburg Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic, according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer.
Carr said that the investigation revealed that the accused and two family members were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the altercation, the accused grabbed one of the family members, a 43-year-old woman, and threw her on the floor before striking her with brass knuckles. While on the floor, the accused then got on top of the victim and grabbed her throat.
When the other family member, a 63-year-old woman, attempted to separate the two parties, the accused pushed her to the ground. The parties eventually separated, and the accused left the residence. While outside of the home, the accused damaged the front door and a window of the residence with the brass knuckles.
Officers located the accused a short distance away from the residence. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he actively resisted and refused to follow officer’s commands. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. Both victims reported non-life threatening injuries.
Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Christian Alexander JUAREZ, was arrested. During the search incident to arrest, the accused was found in possession of suspected marijuana and items consistent with distribution.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On January 12 at 1:30AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 3600 block of Tupelo Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that evening. The victim, a 24-year-old man, reported to police that he and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused brandished a firearm. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim with the firearm before the parties separated. The accused fled the residence prior to police arriving at the home. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Elijah Juan HAMILTON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Residential Burglary – On January 11 at 10:00PM, officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 13600 block of Cridercrest Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A resident of an apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:19PM and 9:40PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. The apartment appeared to have been rummaged through. An undisclosed amount of money and a PS 4 gaming controller were reported missing.
