**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On May 26th at 9:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15700 block of Tassia Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault involving a weapon. The victim, a 45 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused cut the victim to his arm with a box cutter. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Felony Child Neglect – On May 27th at 3:14AM, officers responded to the 2600 block of Penbury Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a found child. Caller reported to police that a child, a 2 year old girl, was found walking around the parking lot and apartment complex unsupervised. Officers were able to locate the child’s residence and identified the caretakers as the accused individuals listed below. The child was not injured and was released to other family members. Following the investigation, the accused were charged.

Felony Child Neglect | Hit & Run – On May 25th at 10:04PM, officers responded to the 13500 block of Quate Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a crash. When officers arrived in the area, they located a vehicle with significant damage. Witnesses reported that the driver fled the scene carrying a small child occupant. The investigation revealed that the driver lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a parked, unoccupied vehicle. The force of the collision pushed that vehicle into two other parked, unoccupied vehicles. Witnesses further reported that the driver and child ran to a nearby residence on Quate Ln. Officers made contact at the home and identified the driver as the accused. The accused was determined to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision and was subsequently arrested. The child, identified as a 2 year old boy, was not injured. The child was released to other family members.

**INCIDENTS**

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On May 27th at 2:25AM, officers responded to Lancaster Mill Park located at 13800 Pop Moubry Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Multiple callers reported to police that several gunshots were heard in the area above. Officers checked the park area and located several shell casings in the parking lot. No suspects were located and no injuries or property damage were reported.

Commercial Burglary – On May 26th at 10:30AM, officers responded to a dental office located at 13885 Hedgewood Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and discovered an open window. There were no signs of forced entry. Officers checked the business which was found empty. Employees noted a portable monitor, valued around $200, was missing. Employees further reported to police that the burglary possibly occurred between 5:00PM on May 15th and 10:30AM on May 26th.

Residential Burglary – On May 25th at 10:35PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10500 Poagues Battery Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM on May 24th and 2:00AM on May 25th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On May 25th at 1:47AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8100 block of Tenbrook Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowners reported to police that they had just arrived home and were pulling their vehicle into the garage when they observed an unknown man standing in the garage. One of the homeowners yelled towards the man who fled on foot with another suspect. There were no signs of forced entry into the garage and no property was reported missing.
Suspect Description:
Asian male, between 15 & 18 years of age, 5’5”, 150lbs with a thin build and short black hair
Last seen wearing a black shirt – no further description

Commercial Burglary – On May 22nd at 7:47AM, officers responded to Shenandoah Landscaping Services located at 7848 Bethlehem Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:45PM on May 21st and 5:30AM on May 22nd. The investigation revealed that an unknown person(s) entered a secure lot on the property and stole numerous landscaping tools. Multiple chainsaws, blowers, and other property, total value around #5,400, were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 24th at 9:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Lp in Bristow (20136) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 1:30PM on May 23rd and 9:00AM on May 24th, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence through a kitchen window. The window was found open and the screen was forcibly removed. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.
