Murder Investigation – On October 19th at 6:25AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 12700 block of Lednock Way in Bristow (20136) to investigate a shooting, according to a report from Off. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman.
The investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter the suspect shot the victim before fleeing the area in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
Through the investigation, detectives from the Homicide Unit were able to determine that the involved parties knew one another and that the incident was domestic related. Detectives quickly identified the suspect as Edward Hale and subsequently obtained a warrant for his arrest. The suspect is no longer believed to be in the area. The investigation continues.
This is Prince William County’s 4th murder of 2014.

Described as a black male, 5’10”, 190lbs with brown eyes, bald and a goatee

A 2009 gray, 2-door coupe Honda Accord with Maryland registration: 8EZL42
Identified:
The victim has been identified as Jessica Leigh WILSON, 31, of Bristow
