Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On Saturday, Jan. 23 at 10:04PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 9800 block of McGill Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic.
Upon arrival, officers detained a 13-year-old male juvenile who was outside of the residence. As officers entered the home, they observed a 37-year-old man, identified as the accused, suffering from stab wounds. Officers provided first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived at the location. The accused was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the accused and the juvenile were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused grabbed the juvenile. At one point a family member, identified as a 38-year-old female victim, intervened, and separated the two parties. The accused and the victim then got into a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused struck the victim before pushing her. During the second altercation, the male juvenile intervened and stabbed the accused before fleeing the home and encountering officers.
The victim and the juvenile reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the 13-year-old male juvenile and the accused, identified as Jermaine Michael TERRY Sr., were arrested.
