Local tribute for fallen officers

A Memorial and Tribute Service and candlelight vigil for 14 fallen law enforcement officers who lived or served in greater Prince William County will be held May 10. The 7 p.m. service open to the public will be in the auditorium of the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, 15491 Cardinal Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191. 
The event will the lives and service of those officers who were killed in the line of duty–from Virginia State Police Trooper Jackie M. Bussard in May 1970 through the October 2010 death of Officer Paul Michael Dittamo of the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., according to a news release.
