Kindergarten registration April 6 & April 20 in Prince William County
Parents of children who will enter kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year should note two important dates in April.
Kindergarten registration will be held countywide on Thursday, April 6, and Thursday, April 20. Parents should contact the school their child will attend for specific registration times.
Children must turn five years old before September 30, 2017 in order to register for kindergarten.
When parents of children who speak or understand a language other than American English register their child, they will be asked to call one of two Central Registration sites, Stonewall Middle Central Registration, 571.402.3800, or Ann Ludwig Central Registration, 703.491.8432, to make an appointment for an English language evaluation.
After April 21, instead of registering at their local school, English language learners will be registered and evaluated at Central Registration. Parents will need to call the Stonewall Middle or Ann Ludwig sites for an appointment.
