June 22 fire displaces seven in Manassas

On Sunday evening, June 22, City of Manassas Fire and Rescue units responded to a fire on Taney Road in the City of Manassas, according to a report from Patty Prince, public affairs specialist.
The fire was put out in less than 19 minutes after first responders arrived on scene.
Seven residents were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The fire started in the walls of the home and the home is uninhabitable due to fire and water damage and a partial loss of the roof.
No one was injured in the fire, Prince said.
