Job fairs for teens looking for summer jobs

High school students interested in summer jobs with the Prince William County Public Schools summer program should participate in one of two job fairs.  They will be held Thursday, March 22, at Stonewall Jackson High School, 8820 Rixlew Lane, Manassas, VA; and Tuesday, March 27, at Freedom High School, 15201 Neabsco Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA. The time for both job fairs is 6–8 p.m.

Students must be 16–18 years old and must attend one of the job fairs to be eligible for summer employment. Students should complete the online application available from the Human Resources page of the PWCS Web site and must bring a copy of the completed application with them, along with two references, when they interview at the job fair. (Click on “Employment Opportunities,” then “Summer Employment,” and see the information on “Student Aide Positions.”) See the Summer Job Fair flyer for additional details.

Other local employers that will also participate in the job fairs, include:
City of Manassas, Sports Network Fitness, Continental Pools, Eco Car Wash, and Winkler Pools.
